Well al most, I still need to paint the brakes and do a few things but for now it is done!

RAD BMX

Not sure if you guys know but RAD is in my opinion one of the absolute best movies ever made and has changed my life. I also raced BMX for years as a kid but got out of it so I decided to build up my old haro into a sick bike, an oldschool style bike with a newer school twist. I wanted to find a real vintage Powerlite, GT, Haro or Mongoose but the frames alone cost hundreds of dollars.

It obviously isn't done but here is what went into it and what is going into it:

Haro AL 1.0 Frame (sanded, primered and painted by Brent and I)

S&M Handlebars

It still needs:

The brakes need to be painted black or green (they are red)

Banksy is and has been one of my favorite artists ever since highschool and I am glad to see he is still putting out very high quality work even with his recent surge of popularity.

"Amongst the most well known street artists today, Banksy has struck again in perhaps his most ironic piece of work yet. Seen painted on the side of a post office, his slogan "One Nation Under CCTV" was conducted behind a large fence with CCTV (surveillance camera) coverage. The job required the construction of three stories of scaffolding to complete the job and represents one of Banksy's boldest attempts and the irony is brought on by the fact this was all happening under the "eye in the sky" surveillance cameras. However, with the surging popularity of Banksy, increased publicity and large sums his works command (however this was done on a post office), maybe somebody willingly turned the blind eye?"

Oldschool BMX

So as some of you may know the movie RAD is one of my favorite movies ever made and I used to love BMXing. So this just made sense, I am building up an oldschool style BMX bike but with a newer twist to it. I am using my old Haro AL2.0 frame, Kink Stem, S&M Handlebars, etc. We are painting it semi-gloss black as well. I have some goodies on the way too :)

So I had nothing to do Sunday and decided to detail the shit out of my car.

It took me 5-6 hours to fully detail it:

Wash and Dry
Clay Bar
Cleaner Wax
Swirl Remover w CSS Orange Light Cut Pad
Wax with CSS Gray No Cut Pad (Meguires Yellow #26)
2 Stage Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner on seats
Vacum and detail interior

I am pissed, I have like an omen when it comes to shooting my own car, something always goes wrong....This time one of the flashes was totally dead and NONE of my other batteries were working for it....So I only got one picture with both flashes and it was a test shot....Hopefully I can do a shoot under the right conditions soon. So I took these basically to just show how smooth the paint is now haha. Oh yea any my action to resize and watermark my pics freaked out and some of them are all messed up.
